PreOrder Boss is designed to help you give your customers a more comfortable and seamless pre-order experience and allow you to keep selling more products even when out of stock. The app is super easy to install and extremely easy to use. Here you can find some useful troubleshooting tips to make your experience of using the PreOrder Boss app even smoother.
Continue Selling When Out of Stock (Checkbox)
By default, each Product Variant in your Shopify Store has the Continue Selling When Out of Stock checkbox that allows you to continue selling out-of-stock Products. When you enable the PreOrder Boss app for your Products, the Continue Selling When Out of Stock checkbox is automatically checked (enabled), allowing you to continue selling out-of-stock Products as pre-orders. If you accidentally uncheck the Continue Selling When Out of Stock checkbox for a Product, this Product's pre-order will be automatically disabled.
To check the Continue Selling When Out of Stock checkbox for your Products, first, go to All Products from your Shopify Admin Panel and then start editing the preferred Product Variant (you can edit Variants in bulk by checking boxes next to them and using bulk actions).
In the Inventory section, you can see the Continue Selling When Out of Stock checkbox. If you want to enable the pre-order for the given Product Variant, make sure that this box is checked (enabled).
Uninstalling the Pre-Order App
To uninstall the pre-order app, click on the Delete button next to the app on your Store's Apps Screen.
NOTE: When you uninstall the Pre-Order Boss App, all pre-orders are automatically disabled and removed for all related Products and Variants. However, all Product Prices in the corresponding Store that had been previously changed by the pre-order app will not return to their original values. Thus, you will have to manually change all altered Product and Variant Prices back to their original values (if that's required).
